Public Transit
The hall is located behind the Kresge Auditorium at the main MIT crossing on Mass Ave. (just before the Harvard Bridge as you're heading into Boston).
- Take the #1 bus, which runs from Harvard Square along Mass Ave. to Dorchester, and stops right out front.
- Walk from Kendall/MIT stop on the red line (.7 miles, about 16 minutes).
- Walk from Central Square stop on the red line (.8 miles, about 17 minutes). You can also catch the #1 bus from Central Square.
Drive and Park
The street address is 201 Amherst Street. Please note that there are many one-way streets and no-left-turn intersections in this area.
Parking options:
- Kresge Garage beneath the music building (enter on Amherst Street; $11).

Westgate Lot at the other end of the athletic fields adjacent to the music building ($11).
- Meter spots are scarce in this part of Cambridge – it’s sometimes possible to find a spot on Albany Street heading east from Memorial Drive toward Mass Ave. Please note that parking meters are in effect until 8 pm in Cambridge.
