Member Biographies
Jae Young Cosmos Lee, violin, was concertmaster of the Banff Festival Orchestra in Canada and is now assistant concertmaster of the Boston Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Portland Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of A Far Cry, a conductorless chamber orchestra based in Boston. He is a recipient of numerous awards and honors, and has performed in many of the finest music festivals in North America, Europe and Korea. He has helped found Gros Morne Summer Music in New Foundland, Canada, and was also a founding member of the Mostly Modern Chamber Music Society, based in Cleveland. Jae holds degrees from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the New England Conservatory.
