DVOŘÁK – String Quintet No. 2 in G major, Op.77

Suddenly, he found himself on the cusp of fame, coming to the attention of Johannes Brahms, who would change the direction of his life. Frank Lloyd Wright is known not only for his houses, but also the decorative stained glass windows adorning them, whose shapes inspired Andrew Norman’s Light Screens. Also on this program, the muscular beauty of Guggenheim Award-winner Laurie San Martin’s Objets Trouvés, and Jean Françaix’s exuberant wind quartet.
