Jennifer Montbach, oboe, is the founder and artistic director of Radius Ensemble. She has been lauded for her programmatic vision that has “attracted a younger, more diverse audience” (Boston Globe), as well as for the “evocative lyricism and nuanced phrasing” of her performances (Bay Windows). She has appeared with orchestras and ensembles throughout New England, including the Portland (Maine) Symphony, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, the Orchestra of Indian Hill, Composers in Red Sneakers, and the Harvard Group for New Music, and has held positions in development and marketing at the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Modern Orchestra Project. She holds degrees from Harvard College and New England Conservatory.
